Let's Talk Hay Fever - About Me
I kind of already wrote a piece on me in my article Hay Fever – My Story, but I thought I would paraphrase that here.
So, my story with hay fever started around 40 years ago when I was 8 (yes, for those that are doing the maths now, I am – at this current stage – 48 years).
I’ve kind of been through the worst of it, having times when I was younger with eyes so swollen I couldn’t open them. I’ve tried many things to help with hay fever (and my swollen eyes – which includes cold teabags on them).
I now what to talk about what I have experienced, tried and tested and what worked for me and what didn’t. I want to share the knowledge I have picked up.
I also wanted to say that it can get better over time. When I was 8, when summer and the pollen months arived I was prepared to spend days with sore eyes, runny nose and lots of sneezing. Today I have the odd red eye and sneeze – but for the most part it has gotten easier.
That is just something for everyone to try and look forward too.
So, I hope to share with you and I hope you can relate and pick something up along the way.
